The amount of activity automatically sent to Follow Up Boss is determined by the IDX technology vendor used, on non-custom websites. However, some vendors provide Virtual Results the ability to send additional activity to Follow Up Boss. Out of the box, many IDX Solutions do enable basic FOB integration – often via Zapier – which include New Contacts, Showing Requests and Contact Requests. Deep integrations include activity such as tracking pageviews, listing views, saved searches, favorite properties, listing email sends and opens, lead source and medium, and analytics identifiers.

So which IDX has the best Follow Up Boss integration built in? The winner currently is ShowcaseIDX, a newcomer that has come on strong with a modern user interface. It’s important to note however that while it’s a huge improvement agents must continue to return to the IDX software in order to add, remove or adjust saved searches or send listings.
