Today our technology partner iHomefinder will announce new upgrades to their new “Eureka” IDX, which aims to provide a user experience on par with national Search Portals.

Here is the scoop:

  • List View has been added to the Eureka mobile experience
  • Added support for multiple MLS boards
  • Sold and pending listings display automatically when the MLS ID matches the listing agent, co-listing agent or buyer’s agents. (Only available to clients with MLS Boards and packages that include Sold data. Not included on all plans. Available 4/18/18 and on by default for new accounts).

In our experience, adding Automated Sold Listings could be significant. We don’t have full details yet but at a minimum I would expect that to mean an agent, team or broker could easily show information on all past sold listings without the tedious manual labor typically required. Listings should seamlessly move from Featured Listings to Sold Listings pages automatically. It could mean an additional status of “Sold” would be available on search pages. That might not generate widespread use but it would be a neat feature!

How about you? Tell us your experience / thoughts / reactions to the new Eureka Search from iHomefinder?
